Who am I?

I’m still looking for that answer, but…

I’m a professional artistic and commercial photographer.
Born, working and living in Caracas – Venezuela.

Photography+art are my passion in life, so I feel very blessed working on what I love the most.

At this time I’m working for few local magazines, besides doing portraits and model’s books, always searching and developing artistic personal projects in photography.

On the other half I’m into audio visual’s media too… more like a creative audio visual artist than others activities, and at the moment and creating the image for Port Royal Theater play, which is a very interesting proposal mixing actors on stage interacting with images and animation on screen.

Bio.

Franca Alejandra Franchi, photographer and creative audiovisual

Born in Caracas, Venezuela, in 1975.

She studied graphic design at the Universidad José María Vargas, and studied photography at the Caracas Museum of Contemporary Art and the Museum of Fine Arts of Caracas.  She worked for five years as a creative audiovisual different companies and production houses in Caracas.

As a photographer specializing in portraits, her work has been recognized and shown by different international and national publications, such as the daily “El Nacional” and various websites.

Is a contributor to various publications such as journals publishing: Habitat Plus, A la Carte – Caracas, El Recreo, among others.

Her work on the city of Caracas, is part of the sample rotating collective “City Press” that runs through the different cities of Europe and the Americas since 2007, during 2008 participated in the FIA (Latin American Art Fair) representing Mayor of Baruta. She was sworn in various photography contests nationwide.

Her personal work focuses on human experience and its relationship to human, and activist for the rights of women. For more information visit her website at: francafranchi.com.
