"Life After Death" by David Holmes

My experience of life has offered me a great gift and belonging with insight into the realm of creativity where I believe from experience, intuition has the potential to create expressions seeping to be seen from an invisible dimension. This source makes me feel that I am a part of a creative force that is weaving the invisible into the visible. The theme throughout my work is of a transitional one, from the darkness to the light an eternal struggle that gives strength through weakness, vibrating spirituality through form, colour, and abstraction. The oil painting ‘grounded in eternity’ focuses on the beauty and vastness of life, from being grounded in the earth (hence the yew tree which in some traditional believes symbolise death femininity, an rebirth etc). Then there is a feeling to expand your consciences beyond the earthly dimension to the stars of space with the northern lights representing a force far greater an bigger then the one we have on earth.

In the earthly dimension there is a mile stone representing a place of journey to pass over for this realm into another realm.
