Susanne Clark (Artist)
Musical Jazz Paintings
About the Artist
I am an artist passionate about painting and printmaking. A Kiwi by birth I now live in the wonderful city of Toronto, Canada. I love to create vibrant, colorful and multi layered paintings with interesting texture. The theme of my recent series has musical instruments, most commonly cellos and saxophones but in my new work I am introducing the figure into the compositions.
In my printmaking I draw inspiration from a variety of themes but I have an ongoing series based loosely on the kimono which has been very well received. My paintings, collagraphy prints and sculpture are in collections in Canada, New Zealand, Europe, the UK and USA.
