About the Artist
I’ve been involved in photography since 2001, mostly shooting Leica cameras (but that’s another story). In 2009 I bought my iPhone 3Gs and was intrigued by its tiny 3 megapixel camera. I have spent the last year pushing that little camera to its limits (and beyond) trying to create interesting images. Now, a year later I’m starting to see more people embracing Lo-fi photography using mobile devices. Don’t get me wrong, I still love my Leica but I have FUN with my iPhone!

I use the following standard apps to finish my photos; Mill Color, ProHDR, TilShiftGen, and PS Express. All of my images are shot and edited entirely on my iPhone. When I am finished with an image, it is uploaded (from my phone) to my facebook gallery. The images are never edited on a computer. The apps I use are available on the App Store to anyone and most of them are free.

I grew up in the era of rock album cover art. Artists like; Roger Dean and the Hipgnosis design group were a huge influence on me… especially Hugh Syme and the work he did with the band RUSH – He’s just incredible! I’m also a big sci-fi fan. I loved the old Twilight Zone and Outer Limits TV series and I think that they had a profound influence on my work.

I hope you enjoy my work. If you would like to see more examples, please stop by my Facebook page.
